Banff's Moraine Lake
A more intimate, sheltered perspective of Moraine Lake, using the surrounding forest to naturally border the iconic vista. The Valley of the Ten Peaks feels slightly more distant and expansive from this angle.

Gorgeous Moraine Lake
This wide landscape shot captures the iconic alpine panorama of Moraine Lake in Banff National Park, Alberta, viewed from the vantage point atop the Rockpile. The glacial lake glows in brilliant shade of vibrant, milky cyan-turquoise, created by rock flour suspended in the water. Sunlight accents different depths across the lake bed, giving the water a gradient of electric blue tones.
Moraine Lake. Banff National Park, Alberta
This quiet, rustic shot captures an old wooden dinghy resting hull-up beneath pine trees along a calm fjord in Norway. The focal point is the overturned clinker-built (lapstrake) boat. Its peeling white paint, weathered wood grains, and streaks of dark lichen tell a story of long exposure to the maritime elements.

Blue Sky Reflection
This vertical shot captures a crisp, rain-soaked view along the main dirt road at Blue Sky Ecological Reserve, playing with reflection and light right after a recent storm. A large, still rainwater puddle dominates the foreground, acting like a mirror to capture a silhouetted oak canopy, bright blue sky, and glowing white clouds. The inversion gives the image a compelling dual-world perspective.

West Fork Oak Creek Rays
This lush, atmospheric shot perfectly captures the green canyon floor along the West Fork Oak Creek Trail near Sedona, AZ. Brilliant sun rays break through the high forest canopy, filtering down through mist or light haze in distinct, luminous beams (crepuscular rays) that illuminate the canyon slope.
